Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Health Visitor to deliver the Healthy Child Programme across the 0-25 service, focusing on universal and partnership-plus families.

You will manage an active caseload, work with local authorities and partners on safeguarding, and lead service development with evidence-based practice to improve community health outcomes.

Qualifikationen

• Sound knowledge of safeguarding, clinical governance, risk management, audit and professional codes.
• Good verbal, non-verbal and written communication with effective interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently, supporting and motivating staff.
• BSc Public Health Nursing - Health Visiting or equivalent; V100 nurse prescriber; Leadership and Mentorship at Level 6.
• RN (Adult or Child/RSCN) or RM registration.

A Health Visitor post in the 0-25 Healthy Child service, sitting within an integrated 0-25 team run by Wirral Community Health and Care NHS Foundation Trust. The work centres on delivering the Healthy Child Programme to universal and partnership-plus families while managing an active caseload. Public health work across a geographical area and joint child protection with other agencies set the role apart, alongside leadership and service development. Fit depends on a Health Visiting qualification, V100 nurse prescriber status and access to a car.
