A community health organization based in Halifax is seeking a Health Visitor to deliver quality services to children and families. This role focuses on promoting child development and public health issues within the community. The position offers flexible working hours and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on local families. Ideal candidates will have a background in health visiting and embrace the organization's vision and values.
Job Role: Health Visitor
Band: 6 (£38,682 - £46,580)
Hours: Up to 34hrs negotiable per week
Contract: Permanent
We are looking for enthusiastic Health Visitors to join our service that is based at Horsfall House in Halifax, with the opportunity to work flexibly within the community. Health Visitors can make a real difference to children, families and communities and play a fundamental role in the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme, promoting child development, safeguarding children, preventing social exclusion and deprivation, and tackling important public health issues.
As a health visitor you will be responsible for a caseload of children and families requiring various levels of intervention. You will be responsible for providing a quality service to these clients including delivering Getting Ready for Baby Sessions alongside children’s centres.
We are looking for Health Visitors who embrace our Locala vision and values. Part-time hours can be negotiated to accommodate the successful candidate’s needs and the needs of the service.
