Sociology Teacher - Stevenage
Start Date: October 2025 after the half term
Contract: Full-Time leading to a permanent contract

Pay: Competitive day rates based on uplifted 4% salaries & paid to scale from day 1

Tradewind Recruitment works closely with one of it's partnered secondary schools in Stevenage who are seeking a dedicated Health and Sociology teacher to join their team following the October half term. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young minds and help students engage with some of the most pressing social issues of our time.

The Role:
Responsible for teaching Health and Social Care to pupils in KS4 and KS5 (btec), delivering engaging and upbeat lessons in this popular and busy deoartment which will encourage critical thinking and real-world application. You'll have the opportunity to shape a dynamic curriculum and boost students' curiosity about Health & Social work.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for contemporary social issues

  • Is reflective, innovative, and committed to continuous improvement

  • Has excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teaching
