We are seeking a part-time Team Leader in Banbury to join our supported living home

Looking for your next step in social care? Are you a confident problem solver, creative thinker with excellent communication skills?

The role is part-time requiring you to work 18.75 hours per week, and would require you work flexible across the shift rota 24 hours per day 7 day per week.

Your skills and experience working in care could be a great match for our team leader role. All you need is to be a role model for excellent support, who can inspire others and enable them to achieve their goals.

The support we provide is centred around each person’s values, preferences and needs this includes developing daily living skills, accessing a wider community, personal care and medication needs. In this role, you’ll also lead and support a team of support workers.

You will:

  • Proven previous experience of working with people with learning disabilities and autism
  • Relevant social care qualification or working towards
  • Previous management experience along with a management qualification is desirable
  • Experience developing skills within a team
  • Be a confident problem solver and creative thinker with good communication skills
  • Resilience to overcome challenges

Your responsibilities:

  • To empower the people we support to live the lives they want to lead
  • Provide great leadership and day-to-day supervision to a team of support workers.
  • Assist the locality manager in the supervision, coaching and mentoring of the team.
  • Provide direct care and support to the people we support and model best practice.
  • Co-ordinate the daily provision of support and activities for people we support to ensure the delivery of a high quality, responsive and efficient service.
  • You’ll have finances and other resources to manage, along with legal requirements and standards of care to meet.

  • Baasic salary equates to £15.12 - £16.05 per hour - depending on qualifications and experience

  • Full-time salary equates to £29,566 - £31,378 per annum pro rata'd for part-time
