  3. Facilitate student-led research projects, case studies, and practical activities, encouraging inquiry, analysis, and communication skills.
  4. Assess student progress through written assignments, projects, practical assessments, and examinations, providing detailed and constructive feedback.
  5. Contribute to the development and enhancement of the Health and Social Care curriculum, ensuring it aligns with current care standards and best practices in health and social care education.
  6. Organize and lead extracurricular activities, such as care-related clubs, volunteering opportunities, and participation in health and social care events, to enhance student learning and provide opportunities for students to explore their interests.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong background in Health and Social Care, Nursing, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Health and Social Care to GCSE and A-Level, with a focus on both theoretical and practical aspects of the subject.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and practical skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • A passion for fostering compassionate care and developing practical skills in young people.
  • Knowledge of a wide range of health and social care theories, practices, and ethical considerations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to the wider life of the school.
  • Flexible part-time hours to suit your availability.
  • Competitive salary (pro-rata MPS/UPS + Outer London Weighting).
  • Access to well-equipped classrooms, resources, and practical care facilities to support health and social care teaching and learning.
