Job summary

City of Glasgow College is recruiting two Bank Lecturers in Health and Social Care in Glasgow. The roles are part-time, fixed-term to June 2027, with a pro rata salary between £43,402 and £52,247 per year ( (£50,036) for TQFE holders).

You will prepare lessons, teach and assess across health and social care courses, using strong IT skills and effective communication. PVG disclosure is required; applying by the stated deadline is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have qualification at SCQF level 9 or above and a relevant Professional Qualification, with recent and relevant vocational experience.
• Excellent IT skills (MS Office) required; good communication and strong written/verbal communication are essential.
• Previous teaching experience or leading training and assessing programmes in Health and Social Care is essential.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lessons, teach and assess students across Health & Social Care courses.
• Deliver both academic and vocational subjects at various levels.
• Mark student work and contribute to course development.
