Job summary

West Lothian College is seeking a Bank Lecturer in Childhood Practice within the Care, Health and Sport faculty. Hours and days are as required, with a salary of £43,402 - £52,247 per annum pro rata depending on experience.

The post involves delivering and assessing courses from SCQF Level 4 to 8, developing online and face-to-face materials, and collaborating across the College to support progression and employability.

Qualifications

• Degree or appropriate professional qualification in their specialist field.
• Sound practical work experience in an appropriate setting.
• A teaching qualification and lecturing experience within the Childhood Practice Sector is preferable.
• Delivery of online and face-to-face learning; development of course materials.

West Lothian College are looking to expand its register of bank Lecturers. Working within the friendly and knowledgeable team within the Care, Health and Sport faculty, you will be committed to the delivery of high-quality teaching and a varied learning experience, focussed on progression and employability.

Applications are invited to contribute to the delivery and assessment of a range of courses from SCQF Level 4 to Level 8. You will develop course materials for online and face to face learning, work flexibly and collaborate effectively with other members of the College.

Applicants should have a degree or appropriate professional qualification in their specialist field, and sound practical work experience in an appropriate setting. A teaching qualification and lecturing experience within the Childhood Practice Sector is preferable.
