Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Health and Social Care Assessor (Trainee or Qualified) to work home/field based with travel across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire. Full training will support you to achieve a recognised Assessor award.

Starting salary £29,000 rising to £30,000 plus bonus, with an excellent benefits package. This is a full-time, permanent role requiring organised, motivated professionals willing to travel and mentor learners.

Qualifications

• Solid occupational competency in Health and Social Care (Elderly) as Deputy Manager or Care/Registered Manager (3–5 years).
• Health and social care qualification at Level 5.
• Good ICT skills and ability to deliver Functional Skills.
• Full, clean driving licence with vehicle and travel flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Assess and support learners working towards Apprenticeship qualifications in Health and Social Care (up to Level 5).
• Deliver training and support learners with Functional Skills.
• Manage your diary to ensure timely visits and reviews.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
• Meet Assessor KPI’s in terms of timely visits, quality paperwork and general administration.
• Assessors are expected to take part in Learner Recruitment to maintain own caseload.
