t2 Group, the UK's largest health and social care apprenticeship provider, seeks a Health and Social Care Assessor to conduct workplace observations and support learners across Portsmouth and surrounding areas. You will plan, report, and perform remote admin tasks, travelling to maximise efficiency and ensuring Ofsted/awarding body compliance.

The role focuses on observations and progression support, working with Personal Development Managers to drive the apprenticeship journey.

Formación

• TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D32/33 required.
• Level 5+ qualification in Health & Social Care required.
• Minimum 2 years' recent management experience in Adult Health & Social Care required.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel required.
• Comfortable working independently in a field-based role.

We're recruiting for a qualified Health and Social Care Assessor to support apprenticeship learners across workplace settings. This role focuses specifically on only carrying out workplace observations and contributing to learner progress, working alongside Personal Development Managers who lead the wider apprenticeship journey. You will work with learners across Portsmouth and surrounding areas, with travel planned to maximise efficiency. You will typically complete 10 observations per week, alongside planning, reporting, and remote admin work. This role is sometimes referred to as Apprenticeship Assessor, Health and Social Care Tutor or Skills Coach within Health and Social Care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct workplace observations in care settings
• Assess learners against apprenticeship standards
• Provide structured feedback and support progression
• Manage a caseload of learners across your region
• Ensure compliance with Ofsted and awarding body requirements
• Support learners through mock assessments and reviews

Qualifications

• Assessor qualification (TAQA, CAVA, A1 or D32/33)
• Level 5+ qualification in Health & Social Care

£33,000 per year + bonus + expenses, 25 days holiday + bank holidays + Christmas shutdown
