Job summary

Paragon Skills is seeking an experienced Personal Tutor to deliver Health & Social Care qualifications at Levels 2 and 3. You will guide learners and provide coaching and assessment throughout their programme.

You’ll work with Elevate workshops, manage a caseload, conduct reviews, provide feedback, and liaise with employer partners to ensure a high-quality learner experience. GDPR and safeguarding compliance are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Assessor qualification (CAVA, TAQA, A1, D32/33 or equivalent).
• Teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS or equivalent).
• Health & Social Care qualification at Level 3 or above.
• Experience delivering high-quality teaching, learning and assessment.
• Experience managing a learner caseload.
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
• Ability and willingness to travel for observations and visits.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and support learners to achieve Health & Social Care qualifications.
• Deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment tailored to learner needs.
• Manage a caseload of learners with regular reviews and progress support.
• Provide constructive feedback that drives learner development and achievement.
• Build positive relationships with employer partners for a high-quality learner experience.
• Promote Elevate workshops and learning resources.
• Monitor learner progress through the LMS and related systems.
• Collaborate with Functional Skills and Additional Learning Support teams.
• Produce clear review and observation documentation.
• Maintain GDPR and safeguarding compliance.
