About the Role

Every day, you will meet donors who motivate you, and the high-quality plasma you collect will become life-changing medicines. You will report to the Plasma Center Manager and perform as a plasma donor screener and phlebotomist to support plasma center operations.

Responsibilities
  1. Answer phones, greet donors, and focus on their safety.
  2. Screen donors, record vital signs, and finger stick results.
  3. Use the Donor Information System, prepare charts, maintain records, and coordinate compensation.
  4. Identify operational improvements and initiate process changes.
  5. Work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to walk and stand throughout shifts.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to bend, stoop, crouch, and reach.
  • Lift up to 5 lbs., occasionally up to 32 lbs., rarely 50 lbs.
  • Good motor coordination, depth perception, and hearing ability.
  • Prolonged glove wear due to bloodborne pathogen exposure.
  • Experience in customer or patient-facing roles is helpful.
Additional Information

The starting pay is $19/hour, with daily pay options available. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and more. The role requires working in Bellingham, WA, and may involve working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
