Job summary

The University of Manchester is seeking a motivated Research Associate in Health Sciences Research to contribute to applied health research across the Division of Dentistry. The role focuses on supporting high-quality systematic reviews that inform clinical practice, guideline development and health policy in oral health.

Qualifications

• Hold, or be nearing completion of, a PhD in a subject relevant to applied health sciences or a related discipline, or possess equivalent research experience.
• Experience of quantitative research and research methodology.
• Experience of conducting Cochrane and/or non-Cochrane systematic reviews.
• Experience of critical appraisal and meta-analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with clinical and non-clinical collaborators.
