Job summary

Cadence Search Ltd is seeking a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor for a Birmingham-based role. You will develop policies, provide training, conduct risk assessments and investigate incidents to uphold high safety standards across the region.

You will deliver first-line advice on health and safety matters, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal requirements within a large contracting environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
• Provide training to staff and contractors on safety procedures, hazards and emergency protocols.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures.
• Carry out site inspections and audits to ensure safety standards.
• Investigate accidents and near misses to identify root causes.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and regulations.
• Coordinate with site managers, contractors and stakeholders to promote safety culture.
• Maintain records of incidents, inspections and training.
• Support RAMS reviews and ensure proper hazard controls.
