We are looking for a Health, Safety & Wellbeing Advisor to join our Infrastructure team on the A428 Project. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced safety professional to work in a collaborative environment influencing and leading on all aspects of health and safety performance.

What you'll do:

  • Understand the Company Health & Safety and wellbeing Policies and Procedures and statutory requirements as they affect the Project operations and ensure that the requirements are implemented.
  • Provide operational and functional management with advice on the prevention of accidents, ill health, and the practical implementation of the company’s SHW policies.
  • Assist the Project Manager or Project SHW Manager in preparing and developing the Project Construction Phase Health & Safety Plan & coordinate reviews as required.
  • Undertake site SHW inspections as required. Participate as requested in “Company” SHW Audit and inspections.
  • Maintain the health and safety competency matrix of the scheme.

What you'll bring to the role:

  • Relevant SHW related experience
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or NEBOSH General certificate or equivalent NVQ
  • Relevant SHW experiences within construction is desirable but not exclusive to construction, a similar high-risk industry would be considered
