  • Membership of IOSH or equivalent professional body is essential.

  • Ensure all Health, Safety, and Wellbeing requirements are met.
  • Provide expert advice to departmental managers and staff.

Job description

Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor required to work on a hybrid model system, with attendance at their offices based in Gravesend. A full driving licence is necessary as travel may be required on rare occasions.

  • This role involves ensuring all Health, Safety, and Wellbeing requirements are met, providing expert advice and guidance to departmental managers, safety representatives, and staff across the organisation.
  • You will be involved in exciting projects and campaigns related to Health, Safety, and Wellbeing, so teamwork and attention to detail are essential.
  • Strong communication skills are crucial. You'll need to engage with stakeholders tactfully, maintain confidentiality, and foster collaborative relationships at all levels.

Skills Required
  • Proven experience in a Health, Safety and Wellbeing role, ideally in a high-risk environment.
  • Membership of IOSH or an equivalent professional body.
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (NVQ Level 4).
  • Internal auditing experience.
  • CDM Awareness.
  • Working knowledge of ISO 45001.
