Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is recruiting a Health & Safety Site Officer to join our client site in Wrexham. This hands-on role focuses on promoting a positive safety culture and ensuring compliance across the site, with routine audits, risk assessments and incident management.

The ideal candidate will hold IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent), have experience in facilities management or similar operations, strong communication and stakeholder skills, and be proficient with health & safety software such as

Qualifications

• Experience in a Health & Safety role within facilities management or similar operational environment.
• IOSH Managing Safely qualification or equivalent.
• Knowledge of HSE legislation and best practice.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive Health & Safety culture across the site.
• Review risk assessments and method statements; maintain documentation.
• Conduct regular H&S audits, inspections and toolbox talks.
• Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions.
• Support implementation of continuous improvement in H&S performance.
