Health, Safety & Quality Manager
Salary: 40,000 - 50,000 per annum + excellent benefits
Hybrid (3 days in Banbury)

Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire


Our innovative and successful client is looking for a Health, Safety & Quality Manager to help lead the way in creating a safer, smarter, and more sustainable working environment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a world-leading business where your voice matters. You will be shaping SHEQ strategy, supporting leadership, and embedding a culture of safety, engagement, and continuous improvement.

In this role, you'll collaborate closely with the leadership team and line managers to ensure operations run to the highest safety, health, environmental, and quality standards. You'll also play a key role in maintaining and evolving their management systems in line with ISO standards.

Main responsibilities for the Health, Safety & Quality Manager

  1. Implement and update Company policies and procedures related to SHEQ
  2. Maintain ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001 systems and work toward integration
  3. Act as the SHEQ expert across teams and external stakeholders
  4. Manage the H&S training matrix and oversee awareness programmes
  5. Ensure contractor compliance through the contractor management process
  6. Lead investigations into incidents and produce clear, actionable reports
  7. Liaise with management and authorities on incident reporting and records
  8. Assist in risk assessments and method statements for employee activities
  9. Lead the safety team and communicate SHEQ actions across the business
  10. Manage the company's ISO audit and inspection schedule
  11. Promote a safety-first culture and drive continuous improvement

Required skills, experience, and competencies

  1. Experience in a health, safety, environment, and quality role
  2. Working knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001
  3. Experience in internal and external audits against ISO standards
  4. Ability to lead and influence across all levels of the business
  5. Confident working independently and collaboratively across departments
  6. Comfortable managing SHEQ reporting, incident investigations
  7. Methodical, process-driven, and maintains confidentiality
  8. Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel to other UK Sites

Desirable qualification in Health & Safety (e.g. NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent)
