Siemens Healthineers AG in the United Kingdom offers a 12‑month Health & Safety Intern placement within our Magnet Technology EHS team. You will investigate incidents, perform floor inspections, analyse safety data and contribute to improvements across both Eynsham and the new Bicester facility.
You will engage in an Intern Development Programme, develop professional skills, and potentially help shape new processes used after placement ends.
Health & Safety Intern
Want to spend your placement year solving real-world challenges in a complex manufacturing environment?
Join Siemens Healthineers Magnet Technology as a Health & Safety Intern and gain hands‑on experience helping to keep our people, processes and operations safe.
You’ll join our Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) team at an exciting time for our manufacturing operations. With an established manufacturing site at Eynsham alongside the continued ramp‑up of our new, purpose‑built facility in Bicester, you’ll gain insight into health and safety across both existing operations and a changing manufacturing environment.
This 12‑month internship is about much more than observing. You’ll investigate incidents, analyse data, get out onto the factory floor, contribute to safety improvements and take ownership of projects that can make a genuine difference. Our interns are often involved in developing new processes and implementing improvements that continue to be used after their placement ends. Alongside your role, you’ll take part in our structured Intern Development Programme, developing your broader professional skills alongside your hands‑on experience.
This internship may involve working at either or both of our Eynsham and Bicester sites. While you’ll have a main base, you’ll collaborate with teams across both locations, giving you exposure to different manufacturing environments and the opportunity to see how health and safety supports both established operations and ongoing change.
You must also have eligibility to work in the UK for the duration of the internship (Summer 2027–Summer 2028), as we are unable to offer sponsorship for internship roles.
When you join Siemens Healthineers, you become one in a global team of scientists, clinicians, developers, researchers, professionals, and skilled specialists, who believe in each individual’s potential to contribute with diverse ideas. We are from different backgrounds, cultures, religions, political and/or sexual orientations, and work together, to fight the world’s most threatening diseases and enable access to care, united by one purpose: to pioneer breakthroughs in healthcare.
