VANRATH is seeking a Health & Safety Partnership Officer for a public sector client in Lisburn. The role initially runs for 5 months with possible extension, focusing on liaison between councils and HSENI to improve workplace health and safety collaboration.

The ideal candidate will have a degree, 2+ years in partnerships and project management, and a strong background in health and safety enforcement. A driving licence or transport is required.

Qualifikationen

• Degree-level qualification required.
• Two years' relevant experience across partnership work, multi-sector collaboration, and outcomes.
• Experience in project management including overseeing delivery and monitoring targets.
• Experience with application and enforcement of workplace health and safety legislation.
• Full UK driving licence and access to a car or transport.
• Formal qualification in occupational health/safety (NEBOSH NVQ Level 3 or equivalent).

Aufgaben

• Act as liaison between Northern Ireland Councils and HSENI to promote cooperation and joint working.
• Drive development and implementation of the District Council and HSENI Partnership via effective relationships and processes.
• Review evidence base to target health and safety enforcement resources.
• Support Councils' engagement with HSENI priorities and plan joint partnership projects.
• Develop and monitor joint health and safety initiatives and other tasks in joint work plans.
• Provide support for enforcement queries and resolutions.
• Coordinate joint training for HSENI and Council staff and monitor effectiveness.
• Assist in inspections of high-risk premises and complex investigations.
• Develop monitoring docs, audits and reports for continuous service improvement.
• Maintain stakeholder relationships and promote partnership benefits through communication.
