Health & Safety Officer (Public Sector)
Are you looking for Health & Safety Officer role? Interested in working for a large public body for a period of 6 months with a possible extension?
VANRATH are recruiting a Health & Safety Officer to be responsible for supporting the Health and Safety Manager in the provision of a professional advisory service on all aspects of health and safety through expert advice and guidance and actively promote health and safety and its effective management throughout the organization and to embed a culture of health and safety compliance.
Remuneration:
c£37,338, alongside holiday entitlement.
Responsibilities
The Ideal Person
A Degree or recognised professional Occupational Health and Safety qualification or equivalent / Higher qualification AND 2 years' experience in a middle management role as a health and safety adviser. OR HNC / HND or equivalent / higher qualification in Occupational Health and Safety AND 3 years' experience in a middle management role as a health and safety advisor. Experience in the use of Microsoft office products including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience of designing and delivering training programmes within the last three years. Experience of developing reports and policies/guidance Full UK Driving Licence |
