Job description

VANRATH are assisting in the recruitment of a SHEQ Officer for a large organisation.

Office is based in Coalisland / Dungannon - Monday to Friday.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining company SHEQ policies and ensuring compliance across the organisation.
  • Preparing and managing annual audits (ISO 9001; ISO 14001 & Safe T Cert).
  • Producing RAMS and other project-specific H&S documentation.
  • Managing and overseeing documentation including technical submittals, O&M manuals, and drawing revisions.
  • Weekly documentation requirements; overall SHEQ responsibilities on projects are not a full-time position, requiring a maximum of 12 hours per week.
  • Managing contract documentation, including technical submittals, operation and maintenance manuals, and ensuring site documentation is current.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in the construction industry, preferably within civil engineering, is preferred but not essential.
  • A NEBOSH qualification is essential; membership with IOSH is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Integrated Management Systems (IMS) for ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 compliance.
  • Proven ability to conduct site audits, lead investigations, and implement corrective actions.
