ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Health & Safety Advisor/Manager, this role will be partly office-based in Glasgow and also covering sites around Scotland and possibly the North West.
The projects involve infrastructure, concrete frames or structures, and associated groundwork packages, each valued from £10m to £50 million.
Your responsibilities include overseeing site works to ensure standards and procedures are maintained, safety protocols are followed, and training is implemented across teams. You will report directly to the regional Managing Director and the Group HSEQ Director.
Applicants should have experience working for a competitor in infrastructure, groundwork, or RC frame construction in Scotland or the UK, with a role similar to a health & safety advisor or manager. A NEBOSH qualification or equivalent is required. Candidates must be based in or near Scotland and within commuting distance of Glasgow.
The company values long-term employment, so a stable employment history with roles lasting over a few years is preferred.
The salary range is approximately £40,000 to £65,000 per annum, negotiated based on experience and suitability. Additional benefits include a travel allowance or a company vehicle, along with other company benefits and bonuses.
The role is open to both self-employed and PAYE arrangements, including limited company setups.
