Are you an experienced Health and Safety Advisor feeling like your career has plateaued? Are you craving an opportunity to assume more responsibility as part of a growing organisation, with an exceptional pedigree for project delivery in the rail industry?
As Health and Safety Manager, you will be joining this established team to take responsibility for all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management across critical projects and frameworks. This will be focussed upon 3 in particular within London, Wessex, Sussex and Kent regions.
You will engage with project delivery teams to ensure Safety Management Systems are being followed on site, undertaking site inspections, audits and producing reports. Operating as a Principal Contractor, this organisation has earned a respected reputation delivering a range of projects including station enhancements, bridge and earthworks renewals, disability access improvements and depot builds.
Crucially, this organisation is also recognised as being one of the best for developing its own team, with a key objective and plan for the successful candidate for this position to progress into a senior Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management role.
Basic salary is subject to experience and up to £65k, and is accompanied with a car / car allowance to reflect the travel required within the role. Support is also provided to achieve and maintain professional memberships / status.
This is a role suitable for an experienced Health and Safety professional looking for a broader and more diverse range of railway infrastructure projects. You must have prior experience in this sector and be familiar with the complexities and requirements for effective health and safety management delivering projects in an operational railway environment.
