About The Role

Health and Safety Manager (National, field-based)

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 + company car / car allowance
Contract: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hrs, Monday–Friday)
Location: Field-based with travel across the UK (ideally Midlands-centred) – head office in Walton-on-the-Hill, Surrey

About the role

TC Facilities Management (TCFM) is looking for an experienced Health and Safety professional to lead our H&S agenda across 3,500+ colleagues and 1,500 sites nationwide. Reporting to the Group QHSE Manager, you’ll shape policy, guide operational teams, and own ISO 45001 compliance – all while driving a positive safety culture.

What you’ll be doing

  • Set, maintain, and improve H&S and fire-safety standards in line with ISO 45001 and current UK legislation.
  • Deliver internal audits, risk assessments, COSHH reviews, accident investigations, and RIDDOR reporting.
  • Track safety metrics, identify trends, and share insights with senior leadership.
  • Lead Corrective Action Meetings and coach managers on best practice.
  • Act as primary contact for the HSE and other regulatory bodies.
  • Support contract mobilisations/demobilisations and national projects.

What we’re looking for

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely (minimum).
  • Proven track record in multi-site H&S management (ideally FM, cleaning, or security).
  • Working knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 frameworks.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills – especially Excel for data analysis.
  • Confident communicator able to influence at all levels and travel UK-wide.
