Key Responsibilities:

Health & Safety

  • Promote and develop a Safety Culture across NI GM sites.
  • Establish and maintain a robust safety culture across manufacturing units.
  • Conduct regular safety training sessions for all employees to promote safe work practices.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols, conduct audits, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
  • Oversee incident investigations and identify preventive measures.

Environmental

  • Be the catalyst for activity and commitment to environmental management.
  • Ensure, at minimum, legal compliance and reduce risk of non-compliance.
  • Help drive product stewardship across the business.
  • Drive sustainability strategy implementation to support corporate environmental goals.
  • Manage carbon reporting by tracking, analysing, and reporting on greenhouse gas emissions.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in a similar role.
