Job summary

Fawkes and Reece is seeking a Health & Safety Manager to lead HSE across major schemes on the South coast. The role suits a senior HSE advisor stepping up or an experienced manager looking to develop a team within a long-established contractor.

The successful candidate will head health and safety across high-value projects (£90M to £300M), drive improvements, train staff, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors to uphold rigorous safety standards.

Qualifications

• IOSH certification preferred.
• NEBOSH Diploma or Level 6 in Occupational Health & Safety.
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and changes.
• Effective communication and IT skills.

Responsibilities

• Head up all Health & Safety across the scheme including drive for continuous development and improvement across the business.
• Proactively train, teach and lead regarding correct protocol, business standards & management systems.
• Represent the business from a Health & Safety standpoint with stakeholders, clients & subcontractors.
