Job Description:

Fancy joining a fast-growing, multi-national company going through an exciting growth phase? There is a HUGE investment across the facility in systems and technology!

As Health & Safety Manager, you will lead the site on all things Health & Safety and report to a Head of Safety who covers all European sites. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Building strong, collaborative relationships with the site management team and workforce by offering guidance, support, coaching, and leadership on all health and safety matters.
  2. Embedding a world-class safety culture across the site through these relationships.
  3. Providing independent and expert advice to the site management team on all aspects of health and safety with professionalism and integrity.
  4. Developing positive relationships with trade union representatives and ensuring regular meetings to review health and safety standards.
  5. Leading the site Health and Safety Committee to promote effective communication and shared understanding of roles and responsibilities.
  6. Collaborating with colleagues in the wider health and safety function and senior leadership to ensure a consistent approach across the business.
  7. Liaising with external organisations such as regulatory bodies, safety auditors, and insurers to maintain compliance and support continuous safety improvements.

The salary will be circa £50K+ with bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. Full details will be discussed upon application.
