Job description

Job Title: Health & Safety Manager

Are you interested in joining a fast-growing, multi-national company undergoing an exciting expansion? We are making significant investments in systems and technology across our facilities.

Role Overview

As Health & Safety Manager, you will lead all health and safety initiatives at the site and report to the Head of Safety, who oversees all European locations. Your responsibilities include:

  1. Building strong, collaborative relationships with the site management team and workforce by providing guidance, support, coaching, and leadership on health and safety matters.
  2. Embedding a world-class safety culture across the site through these relationships.
  3. Operating with professionalism and integrity, offering independent expert advice to the management team on health and safety.
  4. Developing positive working relationships with trade union representatives and ensuring regular safety meetings.
  5. Leading the site Health and Safety Committee to promote effective communication and shared understanding of roles and responsibilities.
  6. Collaborating with the wider health and safety team and senior leadership to ensure a consistent approach across the business.
  7. Liaising with external bodies such as regulatory agencies, safety auditors, and insurers to maintain compliance and improve safety performance.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary is approximately £50,000+ with bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. Full details will be discussed during the application process.
