A respected construction firm is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to oversee site safety across various construction projects. You will lead health and safety activities, ensure compliance with legislation, and conduct inspections and audits. A respected name in the UK construction sector, is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to take full responsibility for site-based safety across a range of dynamic construction projects.

Having out sourced this function, the company would like this important function bring in-house This is a key role for an established Health and Safety professional who is passionate about promoting and driving the culture of safety and compliance on-site.

Your responsibilities would include:
• Leading site-based health and safety activities across multiple projects
• Ensuring all works comply with current health & safety legislation and best practices
• Conducting site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Supporting the development and implementation of H&S policies and method statements
• Delivering toolbox talks, inductions, and training to site operatives and management
• Investigating and reporting incidents, ensuring lessons are learned and share

Attributes and skills:

• NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
• Proven experience in a similar role within the construction sector
• Strong understanding of CDM Regulations and site compliance
• Proactive, confident communicator with strong organisational skills
• Ability to influence and support both site teams and senior management with a collaborative approach.
