Health & Safety Manager National Construction / Utilities

£70-£75k + Travel Paid + Package

Were supporting a growing and well-established construction / M&E / Civils company in their search for a Health & Safety Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.

Regionally, this is a varied role with roughly 30% of your time spent in the office and the remainder across multiple project sites, providing hands-on support and driving high standards of health and safety across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of health and safety across a portfolio of construction projects.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Develop and implement H&S policies, procedures, and training programmes.
  • Support project teams to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practice.
  • Investigate incidents, produce reports, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
  • Build strong relationships with operational teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum.
  • Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of current H&S legislation and CDM 2015.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Comfortable travelling regularly across London and surrounding areas.
