Job summary

Shirley Parsons is recruiting a CDM Manager for a high-profile programme based in Derby. The role will lead on CDM compliance under CDM 2015, coordinating with clients, designers, contractors and stakeholders throughout the lifecycle.

This long-term project is expected to run 10-15 years, offering career progression and the chance to contribute to a landmark UK construction development.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a CDM Manager, Principal Designer or similar CDM-focused position.
• Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations 2015.
• Previous construction project experience.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Relevant health & safety qualification (NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent)
• Membership of a relevant professional body desirable
• Ability to successfully obtain and maintain Security Clearance (SC)

Responsibilities

• Providing CDM and Health & Safety advice across major construction projects.
• Acting as Principal Designer representative where required.
• Reviewing and coordinating design risk management processes.
• Supporting compliance with CDM Regulations 2015.
• Undertaking design reviews and facilitating risk workshops.

The Role
