INFORM3 RECRUITMENT: Health & Safety Manager

Location: Derry/L'Derry

INFORM3 is currently recruiting a Health & Safety Manager for our client, who will contribute to the health and safety coordination across the organization, and support and develop policies to reduce potential risks.

The successful candidate will be NEBOSH Certified with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction sector.

Responsibilities:

1. Liaise with the Contracts Manager and Senior Management Team
2. Manage and maintain the company's health and safety policies and procedures
3. Develop health and safety plans aligned with current legislation
4. Coordinate all health and safety activities across various sites
5. Manage and coordinate health and safety officers and advisors
6. Ensure regular site visits and inspections are completed with proper documentation
7. Handle accidents and incidents appropriately, with plans to prevent recurrence
8. Coordinate with internal and external auditors regarding health and safety processes
9. Prepare and coordinate training for all employees
10. Attend meetings with senior management and site meetings
11. Maintain high standards of health and safety throughout the company

Candidate Specification:

• Health and Safety Degree or Qualification
• Over 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Ability to manage a health and safety team
• Excellent communication skills
• NEBOSH Certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Full driving license
