Week 2: 8am – 5pm Monday – Thursday & Friday 8am- 1pm

As our Health & Safety Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping and maintaining a proactive safety culture across multiple sites.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting Health & Safety Inspections & site walk rounds
2. Developing and updating toolbox talks, procedures, policies, and safe systems of work
3. Leading emergency evacuation drills and COSHH arrangements
4. Managing first aid and DSE systems
5. Tracking and reporting on H&S KPIs and accident/near miss data
6. Completing risk assessments and leading audits for continuous improvement
7. Driving improvements in Health & Safety systems

We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated Health & Safety professional who has:

1. Experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment (ideal but not essential)
2. Proven experience in a management role within health and safety
3. Strong working knowledge of H&S processes
4. Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
5. The ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement
6. Exceptional communication and leadership skills
7. A full UK driving licence
