A leading construction company in London seeks a Health & Safety Manager for a permanent role, offering a salary between £70-£75k plus benefits. This position involves managing health and safety standards across several projects, with 30% office and 70% site work. Health & Safety Manager – London (with Travel) – Construction
£70-£75k + Travel Paid + Package
We’re supporting a growing and well-established construction company in their search for a Health & Safety Manager to join the team on a permanent basis.
Based in London, this is a varied role with roughly 30% of your time spent in the office and the remainder across multiple project sites, providing hands-on support and driving high standards of health and safety across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of health and safety across a portfolio of construction projects.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Develop and implement H&S policies, procedures, and training programmes.
Support project teams to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practice.
Investigate incidents, produce reports, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
Build strong relationships with operational teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum.
Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry.
Strong understanding of current H&S legislation and CDM 2015.
Excellent communication and influencing skills.
Comfortable travelling regularly across London and surrounding areas.
