Overview

Health & Safety Manager required. Age UK Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is an independent charitable organisation which exists to improve the quality of life for older people in the county.

We are looking for an experienced Health & Safety professional to be responsible for ensuring the safe running of activities across the organisation and the sites from which it operates.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage health & safety across the organisation and its sites.
  • Support the practical implementation and delivery of health & safety legislation and policy.
  • Monitor and review the organisation’s risk controls and provide specialist advice on H&S matters across the organisation.
Qualifications and Experience
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in H&S coordination/management.
  • In-depth knowledge of H&S regulations and best practice.
Role Details
  • Hours: 20 hours per week Monday – Friday
  • Location: Home based (travel throughout the county, including working from our Head Office in Chatteris)
  • Salary: £21,050 per annum + benefits
