Job description

The role will support Bidvest Noonan's nationwide contracts. The position will be based in the London office and will involve travel. The Health & Safety Manager will be responsible for managing health and safety across the company's activities on client sites.

This includes developing and maintaining the health & safety programme for the contract, ensuring cross-functional compliance, and supporting the Noonan management team in fostering a culture of compliance and excellence.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Design, promote, and lead health & safety implementation plans in line with contractual requirements.
  • Manage legal obligations and client expectations according to industry best practices.
  • Drive objectives for Noonan and client expectations on-site.
  • Oversee the development and continuous improvement of site-specific risk assessments and permit-to-work systems to meet regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Promote compliance and continuous improvement through auditing and staff training.
  • Engage with staff to cultivate and maintain a culture of safety excellence.
  • Conduct, manage, and review incident investigations.
  • Review process and equipment changes for potential health & safety impacts.
  • Monitor and report on relevant contractual KPIs.
  • Engage with clients to ensure contractual requirements are met.
Skills/Knowledge Required
  • Practical experience in implementing Risk Management Systems.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Primary Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Health and Safety.
