About the role

We are seeking a Head of Health and Safety to support all business units, focusing on Project Delivery and Asset Management. The role offers flexibility with a base location in the Midlands and involves travel to client sites across the country, with regular attendance at the office.

Main responsibilities

1. Onboarding and vetting contractors through the PQQ program
2. Conducting H&S audits and site inspections, and preparing reports
3. Providing guidance, training, and post-visit follow-up documentation
4. Advising on standards and best practices
5. Managing CRM system and producing business reports
6. Supporting ISO accreditation efforts
7. Developing training courses and improving policies and processes
8. Supporting online systems development and social media activities
9. Networking and identifying sales opportunities

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction health and safety, utilities, renewables, or solar sectors
• NEBOSH qualification
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Full UK driver’s license and ability to travel
