Job description

Job Title: Health & Safety Manager

Are you interested in joining a rapidly growing, multi-national company experiencing exciting expansion? We are making significant investments in systems and technology across our facilities.

Role Overview: As a Health & Safety Manager, you will lead all health and safety initiatives on site and report to the Head of Safety, who oversees multiple European sites. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Building strong, collaborative relationships with the site management team and workforce, providing guidance, support, coaching, and leadership on health and safety matters.
  2. Embedding a world-class safety culture across the site through these relationships.
  3. Operating with professionalism and integrity, offering independent, expert advice to management on health and safety issues.
  4. Developing positive relationships with trade union representatives and conducting regular meetings to review safety standards.
  5. Leading the site Health and Safety Committee to promote effective communication and shared understanding of roles and responsibilities.
  6. Collaborating with the wider health and safety team and senior leadership to ensure consistency across the organization.
  7. Liaising with external bodies such as regulatory agencies, safety auditors, and insurers to maintain compliance and drive safety improvements.

Compensation and Benefits: Salary circa £50,000+ plus bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package. Full details will be discussed upon application.
