Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor for our Brockworth site near Gloucester. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8am–4pm, with flexibility for logistics needs.

The position offers a salary up to GBP40,000 plus a pension and 25 days leave. You will drive safety initiatives, maintain plans, and support a regulatory environment across the project. You will lead training, support data reporting, and collaborate with contractors and client teams to uphold the highest

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation and promoting a safety-first culture.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
• Experience in auditing, risk assessment, incident investigation and driving continuous improvement.
• NEBOSH General Certificate or NVQ Level 3 in Health & Safety with CPD evidence.

Responsibilities

• Develop, lead and maintain Management Plans, Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW).
• Deliver and record safety training and identify gaps for improvement.
• Input, analyse and report Health, Safety and Environment data in GXO and Client systems.
• Chair and present at HSE meetings; track actions and escalate when needed.
• Manage contractors end-to-end including permits, inductions, compliance and exit requirements.
