From audits and investigations to training and reporting, you'll play a central role in embedding a culture of safety at every level.Main Responsibilities:Maintain and enforce compliance with health & safety regulations and company policiesConduct regular site audits and departmental inspections, recording and addressing findingsDraft and maintain method statements and risk assessments tailored to operational needsIdentify potential hazards and develop practical risk mitigation strategiesLead safety meetings, briefings, and present performance updates to senior managementManage incident investigations and follow through with corrective action plansCoordinate on boarding and ongoing safety training, including toolbox talksOversee accurate documentation and record-keeping for audits and inspectionsAct as the key contact for regulatory bodies, third-party auditors, and internal reviewsTrack safety metrics including incidents, near misses, and compliance reportsEnsure PPE and other safety equipment is readily available and correctly usedSupport emergency preparedness and drill planningWhat You'll Bring:NEBOSH Certificate (or similar recognised qualification)3+ years' experience in a dedicated health and safety roleHands-on experience conducting risk assessments and incident reportsExcellent knowledge of safety standards and best practices within industrial or supply settingsStrong attention to detail and communication skillsAbility to work cross-functionally with operations, HR, and senior stakeholders
