Job summary

A public sector employer in the United Kingdom seeks an experienced Health and Safety Officer. Qualifications

• Proven experience providing Health and Safety advice in a multi-disciplined organisation.
• Ability to identify hazards, assess risks, and develop effective safe systems of work.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own transport.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor corporate Health and Safety policies and procedures.
• Provide expert advice to management and staff on Health and Safety legislation.
• Manage the Council’s risk assessment process and conduct inspections.
