Job Description

My client is a large main contractor working on many large construction projects countrywide. The role is based in the North East of England.

Role Overview

They require a Health & Safety Advisor/Manager to join their team supporting their MEP business. This role will be based from our Newcastle office with travel across the NE Region. You will report directly to the Group HS&E Director. Your responsibilities include providing comprehensive health, safety, and environmental advice across the business to ensure compliance with all relevant legislation. This is a great opportunity to support a growing, friendly team, taking a lead on environmental actions and objectives, as well as providing ongoing health and safety support.

What We Ask For
  • Experience in driving environmental standards within the construction industry.
  • Membership to IEMA, IES, or IEEM.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Experience with ISO14001 standards is essential; experience with ISO9001 and ISO45001 is advantageous.
  • Full and valid driving license and access to a vehicle, as travel to various sites across the region is involved.
