Shape a Safer, Smarter, Greener Future

At Aimia Foods, health and safety is more than just policy—it’s about making a positive difference to how people feel at work. We’re looking for someone who’s passionate about people, continuous improvement, and building a culture where everyone takes ownership of doing the right thing.
This isn’t just a role for traditional Health & Safety professionals. If you have an interest in safety, process improvement, operational leadership, or you’re a graduate with a degree in a relevant subject—we want to hear from you. Whether you’ve worked in Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, production, or a frontline leadership role—don’t count yourself out just because “Health & Safety” is in the job title. If you care about culture, people, and making things better, this could be a great next step.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
Culture & Accountability

• Drive a proactive, safety-first mindset across all teams
• Encourage ownership and responsibility at every level
• Support teams to do the right thing, even when no one is looking

Operational Focus
• Lead audits, inspections, and investigations with a learning-first approach
• Partner with operations to embed safer, smarter processes
• Use problem-solving and process thinking to improve how we work

Sustainability & Environment
• Support our practical sustainability goals
• Get involved in environmental reporting and planning
• ISO experience is useful but not essential

Training & Engagement
• Deliver hands-on, people-friendly training sessions
• Lead engaging inductions and refreshers that stick
• Build trust and buy-in from the shop floor to leadership

Compliance & Reporting
• Keep us compliant with relevant HSE legislation
• Maintain open, proactive relationships with regulators
• Track key data to spot trends and drive action

What We’re Looking For
An interest in health, safety, continuous improvement, or operational leadership
• You may be an experienced professional or a graduate with a relevant degree (e.g. Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Operations, Engineering, or Business)
• Strong communication and influencing skills
• A practical, problem-solving mindset and a passion for helping others
• NEBOSH (or working towards it), or other relevant training
• A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

What You’ll Get in Return
• Salary up to £45,000 (based on experience)
• Access to holiday homes in Devon, Windermere, and Spain
• Health cash plans and discounted gym membership
• Subsidised meals in our on-site canteen
• Recognition schemes with prizes, holidays, and vouchers
• Seasonal gifts and access to our staff discount shop
• Investment in your personal development and progression
• Supportive, people-first working environment
• Option to buy up to 5 additional days’ holiday per year
• Long-service awards and charity volunteering days

Why Join Aimia Foods?

If you want a role where you can influence how things are done, support people at all levels, and grow your career in a forward-thinking, supportive business—we’d love to hear from you.
