As our new Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Manager, you’ll lead the charge in nurturing a positive safety culture while guiding our teams through the evolving landscape of legislation, sustainability and continuous improvement.

You’ll be a hands-on champion for safety — visible, approachable, and full of purpose.

In this role, you will:

• Act as the go-to expert on all things HSE, supporting site leaders and teams to stay safe and legally compliant
• Build strong, practical systems that translate regulations into everyday ways of working
• Maintain and evolve our ISO 14001 and 18001 (or equivalent) accreditations
• Lead risk assessments, accident investigations and reporting, while driving meaningful preventative action
• Support line managers in reducing incidents and improving employee wellbeing across factory, field and office spaces
• Set clear targets for improvement and bring people together through forums, training, and collaboration
• Partner with our Sustainability Manager to lead on environmental strategy and best practice

You bring experience from a fast-moving, regulated environment like FMCG or fresh produce. You’re confident presenting, influencing and listening. You thrive on building trust across all levels of a business — and you’re never afraid to ask, “How can we do this better?”
