Job summary
A leading service provider is seeking a Health and Safety Advisor to implement and enhance health and safety policies, ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel. The successful candidate will provide expert advice, conduct audits, and manage documentation related to health and safety within the organization. A relevant degree and experience in health and safety strategies are essential for this role.
Qualifications
- Degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Health or related field is required.
- Experience in implementing health and safety strategies and governance.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the implementation and delivery of health and safety strategy.
- Maintain Health and Safety governance across Colt.
- Conduct audits and site inspections, and manage incident investigations.

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or Environmental Health
Ensures the implementation of safety policies, procedures, and regulations within Colt to safeguard the well-being of employees, prevent accidents, and maintain a healthy work environment.
Health and Safety Advisors provide day-to-day expertise and guidance to support the business, ensuring Colt’s people (including partners and suppliers) are safe and well.
Typical tasks and responsibilities will include:
• Ensuring the successful implementation and delivery of Colt’s health and safety strategy across the regional area, seeking areas for continuous improvement
• Maintaining Health and Safety governance across Colt
• Offering expert health and safety advice to Colt’s people at all levels, including external suppliers
• Leading on audits, site and facility inspections and undertake any accident and incident investigations where necessary
• Producing performance reports, incident and investigation reports and other safety related documentation in a concise and timely manner
• Engaging with suppliers to ensure effective Health and Safety management throughout the supply chain
