Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager

Location: Mansfield

Salary: circa £45,000 plus excellent benefits

Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a specialist organization to recruit a Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Manager. This leadership role involves shaping and delivering health, safety, and environmental strategies at the largest site in the division, supporting a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Promote a positive health and safety culture at the operational site
• Design and deliver engaging health and safety training sessions for employees
• Maintain accurate health, safety, environment, and quality records, reports, and documentation, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with the compliance team to design and implement initiatives that improve workplace safety and support continuous improvement

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within waste management or a relevant high-risk industry
• NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills with experience engaging colleagues at all levels
• Familiarity with ISO standards, specifically 9001, 14001, and 45001
