Job Description

Health, Safety & Environment (SHE) Advisor

Location: Hybrid working (3 days on-site, 2 days remote)

Salary: Around £49,000 (dependent on experience) + bonus + benefits

Security Clearance: Must be a British or dual UK with British citizenship.

About the Role

As a SHE Advisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring safety, health, and environmental policies are effectively implemented across our site. You’ll work closely with teams from engineering, manufacturing, facility maintenance, and security to build a strong culture of safety and compliance. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic industry while being part of a supportive, high-performing team. Occasional travel to other MBDA UK sites may be required.

What We’re Looking For

  1. A Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (Level 6)
  2. At least 5 years’ experience in SHE within a manufacturing environment
  3. A broad understanding of manufacturing and laboratory technologies
  4. Knowledge of electronics (advantageous)
  5. Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and its practical application
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  7. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information and engage employees at all levels
