Job Description

Ringway is hiring a Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor to provide expert advice and lead on all health, safety, and environmental matters to ensure legal compliance and operational excellence.

About the Role:

As a Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor, you’ll conduct audits, provide guidance to management, and deliver training to operational teams. Acting as the key point of contact for HSE matters, you’ll collaborate with internal teams and clients, ensuring that projects meet safety, environmental, and legal requirements.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Conduct site audits and inspections (including night shifts) to uphold HSE standards.
  2. Provide expert advice on HSE strategies, policies, and procedures.
  3. Draft and maintain documentation for the Integrated Management System (IMS).
  4. Investigate incidents, perform root cause analysis, and share lessons learned.
  5. Monitor HSE metrics to identify improvement opportunities and track progress.
  6. Coordinate legal compliance activities and maintain permits and consents.
  7. Collaborate with stakeholders, including clients, operational teams, and enforcing authorities.

About You:

  • Essential Qualifications: NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent; IOSH membership.
  • At least two years of experience as a Health, Safety, and Environmental Advisor.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and standards.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft Office and related systems.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach to work.
