• At least 2 years’ experience as a Health & Safety Advisor
• Experience of managing environmental risks
• NEBOSH Occupational Health and Safety Certificate or equivalent, or working towards your Diploma
• Experience working within a manufacturing and distribution environment in FMGC

We have a vacancy for an experienced Health, Safety and Environmental Advisor to join our Burnley based HSE team.

Safety is our number one priority. As part of the HSE team, you will need an engaging approach to coach and influence colleagues across the business to understand their accountability and responsibility for HSE.

Key to the role is the ability to work cross-functionally to build and maintain strong relationships at all levels, supporting the HSE agenda and implementing continuous improvement. You will also be expected to provide timely, accurate, and business-led advice and guidance to colleagues across Manufacturing and Distribution.

No day is the same as an HSE professional. The bakery and depots are fast-paced environments. You will need to prioritize your workload, which may include supporting risk assessments, conducting investigations to establish root causes and implementing effective corrective actions, supporting training, completing inspections and audits, monitoring performance data, and generating reports.

This role will occasionally require travel to our Widnes depot to provide support as needed.
