Job summary

Noriker Power Ltd is seeking a Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety on UK projects and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. You will conduct risk assessments, site inspections, and incident investigations while supporting design inputs and safe construction practices.

The role involves overseeing multiple projects, promoting a safety-first culture, and collaborating with engineering teams to implement corrective actions in line with ISO standards.

Qualifications

• Degree educated in a STEM subject, preferably engineering.
• Experience in an engineering environment providing leading health & safety expertise.
• NEBOSH or IOSH certification held.
• Expert knowledge of UK health & safety regulations in construction.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
• Proven experience carrying out risk assessments, health & safety audits, site inspections, incident investigations, and corrective & preventative actions.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain key health and safety aspects for projects.
• Ensure adherence to UK health & safety regulations and industry best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
• Provide health and safety documentation based on risk assessments and incident investigations for individual projects.
• Review design safety inputs.
• Verify safe execution of construction and commissioning activities.
• Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
